Eden’s Year in Review: New Products, Features, and Improvements in 2022

It’s been a big year at Eden!

Over the past 12 months we’ve launched three new products, dozens of new features, and 30+ new integrations. With solutions to support hybrid work, workplace operations, and people success, Eden is making it easier for Workplace, HR, and People Ops teams to manage their operations from a single platform.

If you missed our monthly feature releases or haven’t had a chance to follow our roadmap, now’s your chance for a recap of what happened in 2022.

We added social features to make office attendance coordination easier and more effective

With teams returning to the office in full force, we made it easier for friends, coworkers, and teams to coordinate and collaborate with our invite a colleague and follow a colleague features.

We also added functionality for admins to send announcements to the entire organization, select employees based on location or reservation details, or to visitors. With these additions, Eden makes office collaboration accessible and engaging for all employees.

We streamlined delivery management for offices

With Deliveries, we made it easier for offices to track mail and packages and notify recipients when they have a delivery that is awaiting pick up.

Deliveries save teams time spent organizing mail and packages by automating the collection of delivery details and notifying recipients. Further, it saves storage space by enabling deliveries to be collected in a timely manner, provides workplace teams mail room with analytics, and delights employees by letting them know exactly when a delivery has arrived and is available for pick up.

We made in-office meetings and collaboration even better

Our team has continued to improve our Room Scheduling, Desk Booking, and Visitor Management solutions.

We added Room Scheduling to our mobile app for iOS and Android, including floor plan views and room booking options. We also added functionality to add both internal and external guests to a room reservation and launched our Room Scheduling analytics dashboard.

For Visitor Management, we launched QR codes to provide employees and visitors with a touchless check-in experience. We added these features to the Workplace Suite to make it easier than ever to manage office operations from a single dashboard.

We continued our commitment to making the workplace safe for everyone

As teams returned to the office, we knew it was important for offices to feel safe to everyone, which is why we expanded our Team Safety solution to include vaccine tracking for visitors, booster tracking for employee COVID-19 vaccines, and negative COVID-19 test tracking.

These improvements to our Team Safety product help employees and visitors feel more comfortable entering the office.

We expanded our focus on the overall employee experience with Performance Management

Eden is on a mission to offer a complete solution for workplace, HR, and people operations teams.

We made strides toward this goal by launching our new Performance Management suite to empower People Operations and HR teams with people-centric software solutions.

In addition to performance reviews, we introduced our employee directory with people profile pages and organization hierarchy configurations.

We connected Eden with your existing tech stack

With new integrations and improvements to our existing integrations, we made Eden more accessible across the tools your team uses on a day-to-day basis.

New integrations include 30+ SSO and Directory integrations, our Microsoft Teams app across all of our products, Box for file storage through Visitor Management, and our Outlook/Exchange integration for Room Scheduling.

We also added new functionality to our Slack integration, including a daily reservation digest, the /eden room command to create a room reservation, improvements to the /eden invite command, and new notifications. With these integrations, Eden is available to your team across the tools they use most.

Looking ahead

2023 is gearing up to be another big year! In just the first half of the year, we plan to add new features to the Workplace Suite, like hourly desk booking, reservations for parking and pets, and the addition of Visitor Management to the mobile app.

For People Success, we’ll add new features like @ mentions and comments on reviews, overall review scores, and new products for engagement surveys, goal management, and 1:1s.
