Announcing Eden Workplace’s SOC 2 Compliance

Security is critical to any modern company, especially as it relates to ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of their employees’ information, which is why we’re excited to announce that Eden Workplace has earned our SOC 2 Type 1 compliance certification.

Our completion of the SOC 2 Type 1 audit reflects our commitment to our clients’ security and confirms that they can feel confident and comfortable using our solutions for all of their hybrid workplace needs.

What is SOC 2 compliance?

SOC 2 compliance is designed to ensure end-users that service organizations, like Eden Workplace, can securely manage data to protect our clients’ data privacy.

Earning SOC 2 compliance means that an independent, third-party audit firm—in our case, Freed Maxick—reviewed our infrastructure and controls that are relevant to security and deemed that Eden Workplace meets AICPA’s Trust Services Criteria security standards of excellence to safeguard our clients' data.

The future of compliance at Eden Workplace

To continue to meet the SOC 2 standards and provide confidence to our clients, we will pursue the next SOC 2 certification: SOC 2 Type 2. For those unfamiliar with the difference between the types, Type 2 certification will vouch for the effectiveness of our security controls over a period of time, typically 6-12 months, versus a snapshot in time.
